Fendertex CH12-4 Cylindrical Fender - Navy Blue
The Fendertex CH12-4 Cylindrical Fender in Navy Blue offers a sophisticated alternative to conventional rubber or plastic fenders, combining a technical polyester textile outer shell with a welded polyurethane inner bladder. This construction makes the fender significantly lighter and more compressible than traditional options, allowing easier handling by all crew members and more efficient storage aboard.
The outer textile shell features a patented salt-resistant knitting that prevents the absorption of salt crystals, eliminating the micro-scratches that standard fenders can inflict on hull paint and gelcoat. The fabric is dyed in mass throughout its fibers, making it highly resistant to UV degradation and color fading over seasons of use. The high abrasion resistance and high compression strength of the textile ensure reliable protection even under demanding docking conditions.
Recommended for boats in the 62–98 ft (19–30 m) range, the CH12-4 measures 47 inches in height and 14 inches in diameter and weighs just 4.0 lbs. The inflatable polyurethane inner bladder is highly elastic and can optionally be partially filled with water to act as ballast, stabilizing the fender's position at the dock. The fender is easy to clean with fresh water or in a standard household washing machine.
