Wakespeed WSTHREEMTHERM Thermistor Temperature Sensor - 3m (10 ft)
The Wakespeed WSTHREEMTHERM is a thermistor temperature sensor with a 3-meter (10-foot) cable, engineered to work seamlessly with Wakespeed alternator regulators. It is designed to plug into the mating connector on the Wakespeed battery wire harness, providing accurate temperature readings that allow the regulator to optimize charging behavior and protect connected batteries from thermal damage. This sensor replaces the previous WS500-BT-K model.
Temperature monitoring is critical in advanced charging systems. By tracking battery temperature in real time, the Wakespeed regulator can adjust charge voltage and current to prevent overheating, which extends battery life and maintains optimal performance across lithium, AGM, gel, and flooded battery chemistries. The 3-meter cable length is the most commonly selected option for battery temperature sensing, providing enough reach to mount the sensor directly on a battery bank in most marine and vehicle installations.
The thermistor sensor is available in three cable lengths to suit different installation needs. While all three lengths can be used for either alternator or battery temperature sensing, each has a typical primary application:
