The VersaChock VCSEATNB bench seat is a universal seating solution engineered specifically for double hull rigid inflatable boats (RIBs) with flat or partially flat floors. Its compact footprint makes it an excellent choice for smaller vessels equipped with an outboard motor and tiller steering, where space and practicality are paramount.
The seat mounts via a 16" wide by 12.7" deep footprint, with 35-degree angled extensions outboard of the footprint to ensure a secure and stable installation. Pre-drilled 5.3" holes are incorporated into the design to accommodate most standard 6.5" marine speakers, allowing for straightforward audio integration without additional modification.
Comfort is provided by a generously padded 2" thick marine grade vinyl cushion that stands up to the rigors of the marine environment. The seat lid is hinged and opens upward, revealing a practical storage compartment suitable for batteries, gear, and cargo — a valuable feature on compact vessels where storage space is at a premium.
Overall dimensions are 30" wide by 12.7" deep by 18.5" tall, and the unit weighs 30 lbs without hardware. Mounting screws are not included with the seat.
