Keep fuel withdrawal lines close to the tank top and reduce required over tank clearance.
To maximize fuel capacity and minimize wasted space, fuel tanks are often installed with little over head space. Sierra elbow fuel connectors provide a solution to running fuel lines in tight quarters. The compact design of the 90° brass elbow puts the barb close to the tank top with just enough clearance to make fuel hose connections. Fuel lines can then be run along the top of the tank requiring less than an inch of clearance. The 1/4" NPT male end fits commonly used withdrawal ports while the 3/8" hose barbs are compatible with commonly used fuel hose. For the best possible seal, we recommend using a fuel resistant thread sealant for port connections and a fresh section of hose for barbed connections. For challenging fuel line runs with limited clearance, Sierra’s compact elbow is the solution.
