Seaview Hinge Adapter
The Seaview Hinge Adapter is a purpose-built accessory for boaters who require additional height clearance when storing their boat or navigating under fixed bridges. This adapter attaches to Seaview modular mounts with a 7" x 7" base plate and enables the mount to hinge backward a full 180°, delivering the maximum possible clearance for radar and satellite dome installations.
The adapter's modular construction is a standout benefit: when switching to a different radar or satdome, only the top plate needs to be replaced rather than the entire mount assembly, saving both time and money. All hardware and gaskets required for assembly are included. Note that mounting hardware for attaching the unit to the vessel's surface is sold separately.
The black powder-coated finish provides a durable, corrosion-resistant surface suited for marine environments. The unit is constructed from polyester powder-coated aluminum, ensuring strength while keeping weight manageable. The captive knob system is uniquely designed so the knobs can only unscrew to a set point and will not fall free when the hinge is open or closed—no tools required at any point during adjustment.
