Seastar Power Purge Jr. with Aluminum Reservoir
Completely purge air out of BayStar and SeaStar hydraulic steering systems with the Power Purge Jr. SeaStar's Power Purge Jr. reduces installation and warranty costs while enhancing the quality of the boat to the end user. A typical manual fill and purge takes the average experienced installer or service technician about 30 minutes per boat. The Power Purge Jr. reduces this time to 10 minutes or less. Dometic Marine is pleased to announce that we have updated our very popular SeaStar Power Purge bleeding system service tool. The new Gen-3 design has undergone a performance improvement with the change to a heavy-duty aluminum reservoir. The new Gen-3 bleeding device is a direct replacement and a running change to the existing -2 design. The new Gen-3 bleeding system will begin shipping in June 2026 for any new orders leaving our Dometic Vancouver manufacturing location. At this time the previous design will be phased out. Orders will be automatically changed to reflect the new part number. This service tool is vital to ensure that 100% of air is purged out of our BayStar and SeaStar hydraulic steering systems.
