The SCANDVIK Dolphin Booster is an intelligent DC to DC battery charger engineered to charge an auxiliary battery bank from any 12V or 24V source. Delivering 30 amps of output at 24 volts, it is well-suited for marine, RV, and mobile power applications where a secondary battery bank must be maintained independently of the vessel or vehicle's primary electrical system.
At the heart of the Dolphin Booster is a smart 4-stage charging algorithm that maximizes battery performance and longevity. Four unique charging programs can be selected based on the connected battery type, covering lead acid, gel, AGM, and LiFeSO4 chemistries. This flexibility makes the charger compatible with virtually any auxiliary battery configuration in use today.
A key safety feature is the automatic protection against source battery drainage. The charger monitors the input source and halts charging before the primary battery is depleted, protecting engine-starting capability and overall system reliability.
