2000 GPH Electric Bilge Pump
When it comes to keeping your boat dry, the Rule 2000 has earned its reputation as the best-selling high-capacity bilge pump in the world for good reason. Built to commercial standards, this 12V submersible pump delivers 2000 GPH open flow through a 1-1/8" (28mm) discharge outlet, giving both recreational and commercial vessel owners the kind of reliability they can count on when it matters most. The fully submersible, corrosion-protected construction handles the harshest marine environments without complaint, and the vibrationless centrifugal impeller keeps operation quiet enough that you will barely know it is running. Anti-airlock protection and the ability to run dry without burning out the motor mean this pump keeps working even in unpredictable conditions.
This is a non-automatic model, activated by a separate float switch or panel-mounted switch (sold separately), making it a straightforward drop-in replacement for existing bilge pump control systems. Output does decrease with lift height, coming in at roughly 87% at 3 ft, 70% at 6 ft, and 55% at 9 ft above the pump, and is further reduced by long discharge runs, elbows, or corrugated hose. For best results, keep the discharge run as short and direct as possible. When maintenance is needed, the snap-lock strainer base removes without tools and cleans up in seconds. A 24V version is also available as Rule #12 for vessels requiring higher voltage systems.
