Whether you’re swimming a lap around the lake, training for your next triathlon or heading out for a long open-water swim, the Restube Swim Buoy keeps you visible, supported and free to explore. The bright signal color makes you easier to spot for boaters, rescuers and training partners. If you get tired, cramp up or need to catch your breath, you can lean on the buoy for instant support.
Setup takes seconds. Fasten the belt around your hips, inflate the buoy through the oral valve with a few breaths, cap the valve and tow it behind you as you swim. It weighs just 123 g (4.3 oz) and has a streamlined 760 mm (30") profile, so it creates almost no drag and you’ll barely notice it. Its 125N of buoyancy (about 27.5 lb) lets you rest, signal for help or pass it to another swimmer in need. Made from durable TPU-coated nylon, it’s reusable in both fresh and salt water.
You can customize it with optional add-ons, sold separately: Reflector, Emergency Whistle, Predetermined Breaking Point and Waterproof LED Light.
