The Quicksilver 865995A01 Exhaust Riser Extension Kit is a genuine OEM part designed to raise the exhaust riser height by 1.7 inches (43 mm) on compatible MerCruiser sterndrive and inboard marine engines. Engineered for standard cooling and dry joint exhaust manifold systems, this kit provides a direct-fit solution that maintains factory performance and reliability standards.
Each kit includes two 1.7-inch riser spacers, two restrictor gaskets, and two full flow gaskets — everything required for one complete engine installation. The kit is designed to work specifically with 14-degree dry joint exhaust risers (864309T01 and 864309T02) in standard cooling configurations. It is not compatible with EC (Exhaust Cooling) engine variants.
Compatibility covers a broad range of popular MerCruiser powerplants: 2004 and newer sterndrive (MCM) V-6 and V-8 engines in 305, 350, and 377 cubic inch displacements with serial numbers 0W310000 and up, and MIE inboard V-8 engines in 350 and 377 cubic inch displacements with serial numbers 0M390000 and up. Always confirm fitment using your engine serial number before ordering.
