Propclean is available in a box of 10 Propclean wipes, for applicator convenience. Propclean is the first step in the Propspeed application process. The denatured alcohol in Propclean ensures that the metal surface is now completely free of contaminants and ready for Propprep.
The Propspeed System:
In addition to the Propclean, the Propspeed System includes three additional components (these are not included in the Propclean wipes box!): Propprep, Etching Primer and Clear Coat. Propprep is critical in the chemical preparation of the metal surface to be coated. The low percentage of phosphoric acid treats the metal in preparation for the Propspeed Etching Primer, which is known best for its tenacious adhesion and corrosion resistance. The last step is the Clear Coat, which is a non-toxic, silicone topcoat which forms a super slick outer layer that marine growth cannot adhere to, improving speed and reducing fuel costs.
