General purpose thinner for topside and bottom paints.
It’s hard to match the versatility of Pettit 120 brushing thinner. This medium evaporating solvent is ideal for thinning primers, enamels, varnishes and solvent based bottom paints. The evaporation rate works well for brushing and roll and tip applications and will completely leave the paint film within several hours. Use 120 Brushing Thinner as instructed to increase adhesion to bare wood by thinning to 50% and allowing paint and varnish to penetrate further into the wood fibers. Can be used as a solvent wipe to remove contaminates and sanding dust prior to primer or paint application. Cleans tools and brushes.
