Struggling to reach the gooseneck? Need just a little more height to secure the sail cover? Installing a light weight mast step is the solution. The folding steps are constructed of UV resistant fiberglass reinforced nylon to reduce weight while providing supportive strength. The rattle-free design flips up tight to the mast when not in use to prevent catching on lines and gear. Pre-drilled for counter-sunk fasteners. Recommended spacing is a step every 14 3/4" on alternating sides of the mast. Two steps installed 47 1/4" from the masthead provides stability (when used in conjunction with a bosun's chair or harness) for sheave, instrument and other masthead repairs.
