The Awlgrip HDT Slow Activator (OA0010/1QTUS) is a key component of the Awlgrip HDT (High Definition Technology) polyurethane topcoat system — a high-performance, sprayable marine finish engineered to combine hardness, micro-scratch resistance, and repairability in one system. The slow activator is ideal for warm weather applications or when working larger surface areas, providing extended open time to optimize flow and leveling characteristics.
Used in combination with the HDT Clear Base (OC0300/1GLUS) and HDT Curing Solution (OC0010/1GLUS) at a mix ratio of 1:1:0.25 (Base:Curing Solution:Activator), the system produces a mirror-like, glossy finish with unrivalled appearance and superior protection. Its slow evaporation rate helps prevent dry spray and supports consistent coating performance in challenging environmental conditions.
