Use the correct rope when towing tubes for a safe, enjoyable experience.
This heavy-duty, 16 strand, 9/16"dia. x 60'L tow rope is rated at 4,150lb. tensile strength. Engineered to pull big three to four-person tubes, this rope will stand the test of time. With its unique “Rasta” color scheme this rope adds style and flair to your towing season. 6" loops are spliced at each end and a rope keeper is included for tangle-free storage.
According to the Water Sports Industry Association (WSIA), tube ropes must be at least 50 feet in length, but not exceed 65 feet. Ropes are designed for different sized tubes and using the wrong rope can cause damage to the rope, including causing the rope to break. Never use a tow rope that has knots in it, is frayed or sun damaged. Only use ropes designed for tubing when towing an inflatable tube. Check with the manufacturer of your specific tube for tow rope specifications.
